aka. Lucas Nathan，2018 年 10 月發行最新完整專輯《Like a Baby》，以舞台上古怪的演出著稱，作品風格廣泛，受到大量音樂人啟發，例如：Steely Dan、70s Brazilian records, Stereolab 等。曾和 Mac Demarco, Badbadnotgood, Mild High Club 等音樂人一起演出巡迴，現場演出時，會以 Jerry Paper 的人聲為中心，貝斯、鼓、吉他、合成器、薩克斯風五位團員將其團團包圍。在舞台和錄音作品上，他試圖用一個極度誇張的「自己」，來打破自己畫出的那道牆、打破自己對自我的限制，也希望能鼓勵大家活出自己、擺脫束縛、獲得自由，就如同他在台上唱著的：「我在這裡打扮得像個卡通人物一樣，就拜託你、請你也燒掉你那困住自己的厚繭吧！」，「Jerry Paper」是 Lucas Nathan 對自由的想像與具現化、是自我的犧牲與滿足，也希望藉由這樣的「犧牲色相」喚起人們心裡對自由的一絲渴望。
專輯《Like a Baby》發行於 Stones Throw Records（同廠牌作品有：Sudan Archives、Mild High Club等音樂人），由 Lucas Nathan 和 BADBADNOTGOOD 樂團的 Matty Tavares 共同製作，並邀請 Weyes Blood 、 mild high club 的 Alex Brettin 以及主唱 Charlotte Day Wilson 一同參與作品的錄製，以主軸：「人類無限循環的慾望與滿足感」展開一連串的探索，一路從大城市紐約追根究底的回到 Lucas Nathan 的洛杉磯家鄉！

Jerry Paper, the creative persona of songwriter, performer and producer Lucas Nathan, has released a latest full length album “Like a Baby” from Stones Throw Records in Oct 2018.
Known for eccentric onstage performances and wide-ranging musical influences (Steely Dan, 70s Brazilian records, Stereolab, to name a few), Jerry Paper has toured alongside the likes of Mac Demarco, Badbadnotgood, and Mild High Club. On stage, Nathan is rounded out by five musicians who accompany his vocals and wiggling on bass, drums, guitar, synths, and saxophone. Nathan sings on the track, "I’m here dressed up like a cartoon/asking please please burn your cocoon”. And he adds, "On stage and in recordings I embody an exaggerated version of my 'self,' pushing it to a limit where I transcend my ego, in an effort to get the audience to shed their ideas of themselves, shed their egos, and be free. Jerry Paper is me at my freest, an ego sacrifice in an attempt to get people to do the same.”
Like A Baby is co-produced by by Jerry (aka Lucas Nathan) and Matty Tavares of BadBadNotGood. The album features work from musicians Weyes Blood, Mild High Club’s Alex Brettin, and vocalist Charlotte Day Wilson. Inspired by a move from NYC back to Nathan’s hometown of L.A., Like A Baby explores existential themes tied to “the endless human cycle of desire and satisfaction.”
